Eyecare of Union Square is pleased to now offer digital retinal photography to our patients with our new OIS Eye Scan instrument. The Eye Scan photographs the inside of the eye, including the retina, optic nerve, and blood vessels. This allows us to detect and document serious eye conditions including macular degeneration and glaucoma. We can also monitor any eye problems due to diabetes or high blood pressure.

This versatile new technology can also photograph the front surface of the eyes. It can even take photos of the tear film for our dry eye and contact lens patients.
